Our school building has a certain character that warms the heart. Our school has been a part of the Meriden community since 1897. The gymnasium and cafeteria are more recent additions that currently host a number of school and local events. Students have the opportunity to buy hot lunch every day. There is also an a la carte selection for students.

Our Proven Results
Catholic schools like St. Stanislaus are renowned for academic excellence. Students in Catholic schools consistently score in the top third on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills, a standardized achievement test that is given to students in grades three through seven. The students at St. Stanislaus School consistently score high.
If a student needs additional help, resources are available from a qualified team of teachers who provide both remedial and enrichment resources. St. Stanislaus School participates in the Title I program.
Our Safety Preparedness
Our school has a safety plan in place in order to respond to possible emergencies in an effective manner. We have regular in-service training for faculty and staff on their roles should an emergency occur. Fire drills and other emergency-related drills are conducted throughout the year. Members of the local Fire and Police departments visit our classrooms to instruct students on safety.
